The NVIDIA RTX 5090 Problem & Future Generation Price Creep

Sponsor: HAVN HS 360 PC Case on Amazon https://geni.us/BtbaEC or vertical GPU version on Amazon https://geni.us/6fD99XA The RTX 5090 problem is part of what we think is driving a wedge into mid-range GPU pricing, despite the 5090 being at the high-end. The desirability and unavailability of the 5090 has caused a run on 5080s, and the rumor of a 24 GB 5080 puts it into the scope of prosumer and business users in addition to gaming users. This reclassifies the "high-end" as what once would have been considered upper-mid-range at best, resulting in a smaller performance gap across a wider price spread.
