The Attacker Just WALKED AWAY 😱🏈

During a punt, he stood completely still after catching the ball, making it look like he had called for a fair catch. The opposing players believed the play was over and started walking away, but Brewer had never actually signalled for one. He suddenly took off running down the sideline and scored an incredible 90-yard touchdown, catching the entire defence off guard. A fair catch is when a player catching a punt raises one arm above their head and waves it to signal that they don't want to be tackled. Once they make the signal, the opposing team must let them catch the ball without interference, but the receiver also gives up the opportunity to run with it. Brewer exploited this rule by pretending the play was over without actually making the signal, allowing him to run while the defenders weren't paying attention. . . .
